Man Killed Crossing Street In Poconos Crash: Police

A 63-year-old man was struck and killed by a vehicle while crossing a street in Monroe County, according to police.

Clifton Little, of Blakeslee, was attempting to cross the road in the area of 3797 Route 115 in Blakeslee when he was struck in the northbound lane, the Pocono Mountain Regional Police said. The crash happened at 5:10 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 11.

Little was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.

Neil Telafor, 74, of Blakeslee, is listed as the driver of the vehicle that struck Little, police said.

No charges are listed against Telafor and no charges related to this incident could be found in court records.

Police clarified to Daily Voice that Telafor remained on scene for police after the crash. No further information was available at press time.

The crash is being investigated by the department's Accident Reconstruction Team, according to police.
